Getting Started

Our beginner classes are broken into two segments, Beginner A, and Beginner B.
Beginner A:
Class starts the 1st Tuesday of the month. The first introductory class is always free!
  • Cost: $100 covering 8 classes or $260 for a family. Complete at your own pace to decide if you like fencing!
  • Lessons open to youths (10 or older) and adults of all ages
  • Small group instruction, focusing on the fundamentals of foil fencing, with some exposure to epee and saber as well.
  • Classes Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm-7:00pm
  • Text 509-710-4464 to reserve your spot!
  • All gear provided. Please bring a pair of sturdy athletic shoes (court shoes preferred), athletic long pants (i.e. sweatpants. No shorts or jeans please!), and a positive attitude.
Beginner B:
Move to Beginner B after completing Beginner A. New class group starts every month.


  • Cost: $100 per month for a individual / $150 per month for a family 
  • Class runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • New Beginner B Class groups start the first Monday of every month
  • Students test out of Beginner B to progress to intermediate foil, epee, or saber depending on preference
